mah first suspense novel (part1)

ala pa title

as i reached out she looked at me probably thought i was nobody
and yet i reached out to her ..hold out your hand i asked her nicely

and she met me halfway a minute more and she would have been lost
along with her car on that bridge..as i was helping her limp along to mah car
we heard her car crash down the river bank. it was a frightful sound..she gasped

still in shock she looked at mah eyes i can sense she is glad to be alive...
i held her hand once more to let her feel she not alone...

the ambulance came and with a few checks they declared she is safe..they carried her and
long drive to the hospital was the first thing on mah mind...

the police asked a few questions just the usual standard procedures..i answered them all
just drove by and saw her car on the edge ready to take the dive all feared.

nobody else was driving that day i for one was goin home early ...

the police checked the the road they could see skid marks on the opposite way of the road..
looks like a vehicle swerved and she tried to evade.then she drove almost off the bridge..

i gave mah 2 phone numbers to extend my help and went on mah way home coz mah mom is alone.

driving along as night fell .. i felt something behind mah shoulder looked at the rearview to check
what it is, to mah surprise its a little hamster..i slowed down to stop at the bend, and held the
little rat to inspect.. how did you get inhere.? and remembered the gurl hmm probably got a ride
on her and jumped in mah car while i sat her down ....ill find her tom and bring little hamster
i think she missis this little hamster...


part 2

at the hospital yes shes still there, the doctors wanted to observe her.
just scratches all i could see and a bump on the head. what could it be that the doctors
need observe her..

i talked to the resident and she tells me, we saw something in her blood..and we need to verify
what it is..

is it Contagious? am i at risk? no no she said she has some blood disorder these things are hereditary
ok ...listen i came by to give her this hamster i thought its her pet she left on her car..

ok you can leave it with me. and with that and a quick look at the patient
she looks peaceful sleeping... yes shes been sleepin since she arrived yesterday.
...

the doctor set down the caged hamster on the table near her bed..
suddenly the gurl screams ...waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa no no no !!! stay away!! please !!!

she was hysterical almost fell off the bed..but managed to stand up and go the corner
where she looked like a child that saw a ghost..covering her eyes with her arms her knees trembling
cowering at that corner i thought shes gonna be eaten by someting big..

but its only a small hamster what could have been that thing that terrified her to death
and somehow she felt that it was near she was sleepin earlier without any commotions.

nurses ran towards the room and helped the gurl on her feet. but she still screamed
one nurse injected something and slowly she fell limp...

please leave the resident doctor said to me.. looks like we have more than physical promblems on our hands

yes i can see there was something else that happened before she almost drove off the bridge.

i said... ill take the hamster back and come back may be tom doc!!

the doctor didnt hear what ive said pre occupied with the gurl on the bed..

i wasnt able to ask the name of the gurl, is she single any family members arrived yet.
questions left un answered maybe tom ill know.. but for now she is asleep again
the hamster ill bring home again...


driving home i noticed the hamster is staring at me,, are you hungry little hamster .whats your name?
just starin at me this little hamster.. i think ill call you tingko ...for a friend i miss ..
are you hungry tingko? ill fix you dinner lots of cat fud i hope you like those..
or maybe not.. lets stop by the grocery and ill buy you hamster snacks...

still the hamster didnt budge just starin at me with those little black eyes..

sudenly something flew across the car windshield i couldnt make out what it was but it was big..
i stopped to check .. but i didnt see anything...i was a little scared of what has happened..
went back in the car and the hamster was gone... the cage was still locked but no hamster..

i checked the car and dumbfounded not able to find the little hamster..how in the world can that happen?
i asked mah self...

just drove off again towards home.. i think this heat is getting to me..



part 3

i was closing the garage door when i noticed that the cage is missing too.
this is really getting really annoying. this could only mean 2 things
1 some1 is playin me like a violin
2 im loosing mah mind...

looks like i dont have to visit that gurl at the hospital tom.. no hamster no reason to go..
but somethin in me wanted to go something about her made me think of goin back to her..
i didnt even get her name... at least know her name and after that i think thats that...

i was preparing dinner when the phone rang...

hello is this mr. manuel.the voice sounded like that from star trek a vulcan talkin bout boarding the enterprize
yes this is manuel... what can i do for the police this evening...

well after investigating the crash ..we found that the stearing mechanism, well has been welded and to steer left.
and something else... there were lots of animal hair in the car.. what ever it was it sure was big enough
the hair strands were so long...we are still tryin to determine what kind of animal it was.

we called you to ask if you saw any animal near the vacinity of the incident.

wow.. got me there.. your telling me it was not an accident but a murder attempt?
and they used an animal to kill? and who welded the steering? and how in the world did they weld while
the car is in motion?

well we are still at lost on that one.. but you havent seen an animal around that area the time you
rescued the gurl?

no sorry officer didnt notice any animal you described.. i should seen one if its really that big...

well ok mr manuel sorry to be a bother...thx for the time..

with that call.. i lost mah appetite ... a murder attempt and im involved ( well i did rescue her)

switched on the tv and the news is on.... "just in, 3 died in the country general hospital tonight "
hey i shouted.. thats the hospital i was in this afternoon...
"details will be available later on the flash report 24"

what could have happened there...?

puzzled i just sat back and tried to sleep .. mah mom went to her sister for a week of vacation..
im alone now.. and thinking of these mysterious events "im involved" i whispered.. shouldnt have rescured her.

what else could happen... with that thought i fell asleep on the couch and the tv is still on..

suddenly i woke up and stood .. heard a crashing sound at the garage.....



part 4


i turned off the tv and slowly walked towards the window and tried to see whats wrong at the garage..
i couldnt see much the light there were off..walked towards the backdoor kitchen and also brought along
a clever...again a crashing sound.. sounded like the tools cabinet toppled over..man i thought to mah self
first time for everything... slowly i approached the garage window and peeked inside..

didnt see anything at first ... then a snarling beast jumped infront of me paws up high , it was behind the garage window
the glass shattered and i tumbled back wards.. i dropped the clever and backed off fast..
the beast is caught in the screen of the window with broken glass all over i ran as fast as i can towards the house.

locked the doors and got mah self another knife... called the police while at the corner of the kitchen..and wiated.

no other sound were audible just the mah heavy breathing.. and i think after an eternity the police came

they knocked the front and i shouted " im here im here!!" i ran towards the front door...

thank Him you came!!

the police cool as ever asked what the problem was..tuckered out i couldnt talk stright
i was sayin it was big it was big!!!

calm down mr manuel.. what was it..

still shocked and terrified of what has happened i couldnt think straight ...

the police checked the house and the garage one police came back and said

there was a break in at the garage.. it was mayhem there the cabinets were all over turned one
window broken from the inside..looks like something wanted to come out fast..

mr manuel calm down and tell me what you saw...

well i started,, it looked like a wolf but it was huge.!! as big as a full grown bear!!

another police walked in and talked to the head officer

sir we found animal hair in the garage..looks like its the same with the gurls case..

mr manuel did you visit the gurl in the hospital?
yes i did this afteroon..

well shes one of the dead after a big animal was seen rampaging in the hospital
the other two were nurses..

too bad i remember watching it in news early evening...

never thought shes one of them...

well the animal seems to know who to kill coz the gurl was in isolation
but this animal just came from nowhere and killed her. along with the duty nurses at that time..

one officer gathered evidence ...looks like what ever it was is long gone now..
but i didnt see any blood on the shards of glass or the screen..

but that animal jumped thru the window and broke the glass and punched a hole inthe screen..
and your telling me there was no blood there..

mr. manuel we shall handle this.. mean while lock your doors and go to sleep

go to sleep? after this episode i dont think i can...
can you atleast leave a police car in front ...

sorry mr manuel were short handed tonight due to the hospital incident...
you can call us if there is a problem... just lock your doors...

and they left and im alone.. i locked the doors and windows and ran up the stairs to mah room...
and locked that too..


tried to sleep in the dark... and heard a chipping sound.. and searched the room ...

to mah surprise i saw the hamster in the dark corner .. it looks scared..i tried to call it

come here little tingko come... the hamster only looked at me with those little black eyes.. as if it knows
whats gonna happen... the look of terror i felt in its stare ...

it was too late behind me was the animal how it got inside was not my concern right now
im thinking of how to escape it..the little hamster just stood in the corner watching us...
with little black eyes as if directing the beast on what to do...

i couldnt move an inch, the beast from what i can see with the flash light pointing down .. is as big as cow.
and as hairy as lion .its whole body covered in hair...

it just looks at me and a frightful grin it approached me , the flashlight which i still held
i was afraid to point it towards the beast...with one quick motion i directed the light to the eyes of the beast
and was momentarily blinded... i fumbled on the door knob to get it open... and i felt the breath of the beast
on mah neck...i froze again and couldnt move...

with its big snout dripping of saliva i felt death was near and ready to take me...


part 5

i turned mah head enough to see the features of the beast

big bloody red eyes furry face big fangs blood still fresh on its tongue, as it slobbers on me like
dinner after 3 years of fasting,,its head is bigger than mine, ears that looked like rat ears..
the fur is all black, it stood over me like a judge ready to pass judgement on the accused
in a flash i saw mah whole life pass by as if sayin goodbye ..i feared the worst and waited for the
pain ...and thought "make it quick please i dont wanna suffer"

i was waiting for death it didnt come... and i suddenly woke up

its morning now.. sweat soaked mah cloths from the nightmare i had..mah knees felt so weak
i couldnt stand.. sat on the bed and remember the dream ... i couldnt believe it was just a dream

slowly i struggled towards the bathroom and wash mah face to clear mah thoughts of last nights dredd.
looked at the mirror and saw mah self .. wooha that was close tot i was gonna die last night..
i smiled a little and thought well that was interesting.. looks like i got scared too much last night
and dreamed of what could have happened..


went downstairs to fix breakfast... but to my amazement and surprize... the kitchen was in dis array
that was strange i didnt hear anything while i was asleep.. the whole living room was also destroyed.

and hair was all over the sofa..


better call the cops ...as i was dialing for the police i noticed something moving in the shadows
near the washing machine....

the shadow moved to the light .. it was the hamster i named tingko..

hey your here.. how did yu end up here??

the hamsters lookes like its happy to see me. it approached slowy but the look on its eyes
tells me its happy... are you hungry tingko? here ill make you breakfast too..

i put tingko on the counter top of the kitchen and i started to make breakfast..
the hamster didnt move around just sat there as if it knows that fud is being prepared for it.
and where have you been all this time.. little tingko? i asked it.. but didnt answer back
just an inquisitive look tingko gave....

looks like your really hungry little tingko...here you are...
and the hamster ate on the bowl almost fell in .then the bowl toppled over it.
haha laughing as i saw tingko under the bowl still eating...muching away.


almost forgot to call the police... dialed the number to report what has happened
last night...


i cant connect the line is buzy ..3 times i tried the last one still a buzy tone..

looks like we have to pay a visit to the police department.. a quick shower

and off they go...

in the car with little tingko in tow..

while driving in the area.. i notice that there ara alot of clutter in the streets the houses looks like
theyve been ramsacked the belongings outside the house.. one house has a big hole on the side..

i continued on to the station... then i thought been a 20 minute drive i havent seen a single person around

parked the car and entered the police station... no cops around... no activity inside..

hmmm what the hell!! hello i shouted inside... nobody inside the station.. nothing was turned on
no radio noise.. no incoming calls from cops outside..

i went outside and noticeds the area that was supposed to be filled with people is a desserted neighborhood

i cant hear a sigle person speaking... not even a noisy radio staion ...


i entered the station again to check for anybody... entered the prison section..

i saw prisoners but not in thier cells.. blood all over the floor of the basement...
and a headless man hanging on one of the bars..

this is too much. better get out.. looks like a prison break ...

i ran towards the car and drove off...

what is happening here...i thought to mah self... driving around town. i still havent seen any other
man or child or dog..


little tingko is looking at me.. starin.. i felt that fear .. like last nights nightmare..

whats going on here... ..
