tryin to forget
i have a headache, but cant remember how i got it.
stood up and almost slipped on a bottle of rum underneath
just realized the room is in disarray stale food and bottles
all over, still dizzy from last nights solo party
had too much happiness with a bottle of whiskey.
slowly walked across the room saw the bathroom and greeted it undivided attention
doin mah business mah eyes focused on mah left hand the ring finger exactly
still felt the ring that was there previously,
a slight smile i felt on mah face coz remembered kissing you was so great
started to shower to wash away last nights grime
in due time ill be where i made you a shrine
the place where we tot love will always shine
the place before full of love divine
is now just another venue for short time
pulled mah self together before leaving the house
kept thinking happy thoughts of the day
i know i wont be able to stop thinking of you while im alive
thoughts of you are always on mah mind
thought of you being here by mah side
thoughts of you im tryin to forget
